Scrapbook of Charles A. Murdock, 1842-1921.

Chiefly material relating to Murdock's printing business, the First Unitarian Church, local politics, and his family. Includes event programs and annual reports of the First Unitarian Church; annual reports of the Boys and Girls Aid Society; personal letters; a document about Arcata land lots (1858); a typescript listing participants in an 1862 "battle with the Indians" on Little River; original pencil sketches; calling cards. Photographs include: portraits of members of the Murdock and Stebbins families; and a cyanotype of the "Starr King" church. Newspaper clippings include: a biography of Albert Hamilton Murdock; a column titled "Our San Francisco Letter"; articles written by Murdock; articles on the 1861 Sacramento State Fair, on the Unitarian Church, and on local politics.
